So I have a newly purchased 120g reef tank that has been set up for 2 years. I moved it about 3 weeks ago and since then have been feeding a few times a week as the previous owner said he was. Well I've noticed- especially in the last few days- that when I feed, EVERY single living thing in there acts like they are starving and rushes to the front of the tank, the snails, hermits, brittle stars, shrimp, and of course the fish. I am feeding a mix of ocean nutrition flakes, mysis, frozen and dried brine, and an omnivore frozen block. Is there anything that I can get to better feed my hermits, stars, snails, and decorator crab? I had a hermit die today that has looked fine since I moved the tank, so I wonder if he starved. I am worried that there isn't enough food in/on the reef to sustain everyone between feedings like the other owner said.
Any comments, questions, and advice are more than welcome. I am so excited for this new addition to my home and family, but just want to make sure that everything looks and feels its best.
