Ok. I've been avoiding this thread as I had the races on my TIVO and didn't want them spoiled. Tizzo, you just like pulling my chain don't you? Miguel is still working out the bugs on the new 08 1000RR as is everyone else. Truth be known though, all the bikes are so closely matched, anyone could win.
Now Mladin is a riding machine. He could be riding a Vespa and win races and Ben Spies is last year defending champ. Those two guys are almost unbeatable no matter what they ride.
You are also going to see Suzukis win a lot due to the sheer number of people racing them. When I went to the AMA 200 in Daytona, over 50 of the 67 bikes in the race were suzukis and it's not because they are better. Suzuki just pays more factory sponsor money than any other manufacturer so people tend to race them. I'm considering a Suzuki for that reason if I decide to race WERA if I get my racing license this fall. If not, I'll be buying a new 600RR and ripping off all the lights and putting on a fresh set of shark skins.
