I think its unreal. I would do it knowing I raised most of those from babies. Thats his secret. I did some research. I think whta he is doing is unreal and amazing. People dream to get that close.

I've seen him on a few NatGeo shows. Almost every animal is raised from a newborn...as in he takes them from mom almost the moment they're born. He keeps them till they're healthy and old enough and reunites with pack/pride.
He's done some amazing work, especially with Hyena conservation. I totally respect the guy, as much as I do Dave Salmoni. He's doing what he loves, what most of us wish we could do and he's making a difference.
If I had the opprotunity, I'd be right there with him.

What was that guys name that went to live with the bears. He had a good streak going but as I recall it ended real bad.

While not a large difference, as the Lions and Hyenas are still dangerous, Keith Richardsons animals are raised by him. Most, from the day their born.
Timothy Treadwell "The Grizzly Man" was studying wild animals, that had no or little human contact. His situation was much different and IMHO, he was completely stupid.
If I had the opprotunity to move to South Africa and go work with Keith Richardson, I'd be on the first flight out.

Grizzly Man was eaten as was his girlfriend. That guy was a complete moron. He got her killed. but she was a grown woman who made her own mind up.
