 I dont want to brag but, I have had very little work to do on my reef. Aside from evaporation fillups I have not once had to adjust any of my levels. Weekly testing is all i am doing at this point. Am I setting myself up for some heartache or am I just following advice very well. The only loss I have suffered is that of a cleaner shrimp. All I am running is 2 15w bulbs one blue one florescent, and 2 pumps(no filters). My local pet store said that was not near enough but here I am Months later with not a single problem. MY corals are happy and healthy my algae is growing nicely.

A lot has to do with bioload. A light bioload will produce little waste and require very little maintenance. This is very true in a new tank that has to start with no waste and build it up.
