I am curious if some one can point me in the direction of a sump design that does not require your tank to be drilled?

Undrilled tanks use overflows. It doesn't really change the design of the sump.

U Tube style or CPR style overflow boxes....google 'em. Sump is still the same.

I have an Eshops 1200 overflow about 15 months old that I just pulled out b/c I drilled the tank.
IT is in good shape..Good enough shape that you do not need to pay retail for a new one....
