Is there any kind of ammonia remover that I could use in a 55gallon FOWLER? Something that I could use like carbon that really works? My ammoina reads 0.25 and has for a long time Im guessing there is still dead stuff on my live rock it's been almost a month and every thing else is fine but I just cant get the ammoina to zero any thoughts??

Well I checked my tap water and it came out zero but my tank has been 0.25 from the begining. And I have done 2 water changes so far still 0.25????

If you just put your LR in there a month ago with "dead stuff" on it you're tank may be cycling again. That may take another 2-4 weeks. Did your -trites and -trates go up too? Just keep up with the weekly water changes and give it some time.
There are products to lower ammonia but, as I understand it, they just bind around the ammonia so that your test can't read it. Eventually, the binding wears off and you're back to where you started. That wisdom came from my LFS so it may be B.S.

What brand of test kit are you using?
My guess is a false reading, aquarium pharm. test kits are notorious for false ammonia at .25
Have it tested with a different brand kit.
