I cleaned my tank this weekend, and may have cleaned mu filter to good, so I may have removed some of my biological. Does anyone have any ideas, how i can reduce the ammonia levels.
Thanks

<strong>Water changes. Do 20% water changes with pre-mixed, aged sea water (obviously matched to temp, salinity) to bring it down safely until your tank cycles. Keep in mind that it may slow down the actual cycling, but its the only safe way to keep your fish unless the fish are ammonia hardy (damsels, some triggers, etc).

What exactly did you do to clean your tank? What type of tank do you have? Is it possible that you have something that is dead or dying off and haven't noticed it?
A tank that's a yr old should not have an ammonia spike like that except if something fairly significant happened.
