an unusual worm

Every once in a while I will go on a late night excursion looking at my fish tank after all the lights have been out for a while. I have a red lens on my flashlight so as not to scare any critters. I havent done it in a while but last night I decided to check things out. Now while looking I found an unusual worm that I never saw before. It wasnt any type of bristle worm, in that it had a smooth body. It appeared to be a clear to milky white in color with maybe a hint of green in it. I saw it protruding out from under a rock and going back into a crevace. It appeared to be about two inches in length and about a sixteenth in diameter. I tried to get a better look at it by using a regular flashlight but it got spooked and pulled back into the rock. It didnt pull back quickly like a bristle worm does,it was a bit slower. Does anyone have any idea what kind of worm this might be?

Are they good or bad? Ive had the tank up for 5 years and never saw one of those but plenty of bristle worms. Nothing new has been added in over a year.

I did a search on here and found out that there are more than one type of peanut worms. The first one I found had black stripes which is not the type I have. then I found a brown one which is not my type either. Then I found a pic that was posted by Cranberry and that one appears to be the type that I have. I wonder why it took all these years to find one. lol

Probably because they spend most of the time boring in or around the rocks.
