i took a vid of this particular one b/c they never, ever, EVER last this long. even the ones labeled "Will last for hours!" last him only about 35minutes. This one topped the charts at over an hour and a half. He was EXHAUSTED when he finally did manage to git 'er done.

Sam's the same way about treats...He tries to practically take your fingers off for them. It's a challenge just to find something that keeps him busy. Roland is sooo cute! Sam copy! lol

This was a Dingo Dental Bone - Dingo brand makes a lot of stuff, but the Dental bones r specifically designed to scrape and scour their teeth to get rid of tartar buildup. Roland's got AWFUL dentition, so we're doing everything we can to prevent the need for yet another dental cleaning. He's had FOUR in 2 years

that's FAR too many times 2b under general anesthesia on a regular basis - ESPECIALLY 4 an aging dog. So everything he gets, every treat, every bit of food, even water additives are all prescription dental prophylactics.
But these Dingo Dental Bones I got at Wal-mart, they were ENORMOUS, my vet said they were great, and they were under 3bucks a pop!!! I highly recommend 'em!

I bet that's an interesting sight! I've have to try those Dingo Dental Bones... Our dogs have lots of chew toys and good treats but they still get a little tartar around the gums. They absolutely won't have anything to do with having their teeth brushed. Especially Sam....stubborn old fart. lol Nira, I can get hers brushed but it takes a little wrestling. lol The little ones just love having their teeth brushed though. But this would definitely help.

Very cute Mimz!! I was kinda thinking that he would do something though with all of the talk leading up. Nope, he is enjoying a yummy treat. Very cute though. Classic Basset
My friend has one that is dark brown and white. His name is Benny, AKA "Benny boy". Sweet lil dog.

LoL, nahhhh, he's just a-chewin' away. I figured I'd put something random & silly up 'cuz things were gettin' kinda tense on here this morning.
