all anemones eat fish. They do not have eyes and they do not hunt them out. The fish are stupid and swim right into them.
Your fish are used to being able to swim where ever they want, and were not aware of the danger. My fish know the anemone is danger and don't go near it...however any new fish I add gets killed.
My clowns are fine without an anemone. I have had them 3 years and no anemone to host. They don't host the Pink tube anemones, which is what I have. They did kill a flowerpot coral trying to host it, that was years ago.
Just get rid of the fish eater.
