Anemone and Mushroom

:help: I have a puple tip anemone that has settled on the same rock with a mushroom and they are taking turns stinging each other, they have been doing it for 4 days now how can i seperate them without hurting either of them? I figured they would get tired and one move but no luck yet. I am new at this.

Are ya sure they are stinging one another? You can place the rock in an area of high flow, like in front of a powerhead and the anemone should move on its own overnight.
I have a funny story btw. One of my anemones attached to the back of my sea cucumber once. It rode the cucumber around the tank like a horse for a few days.

yeap i'm pretty sure they are stinging each other because the both shrival up after the anemone touches the mushroom, i wil try moving the rock infront of the power head thanks

Make sure it isn't so close to the powerhead that either can get sucked up in the intake or have their tissue damaged from the flow. Good luck
