Anemone ate Cleaner Shrimp??

I think my sebae anemone ate one of my cleaner shrimps. I see the skeleton of his body with the antennae in the fingers of the anemone. Did the shrimp become an expensive snack or do these things shed their entire upper section?

Hey,
Yup, they will molt and the first time it happens it scares the @#$! out of you. They usually hide right afterwards. Good calcium levels will help them build a stong exoskeleton.

Yup.....keep calcium and alkalinity up to par.....my pepermints molt fairly often....I'll see a skin then a few days later its back again.........natures kewl huh
