ANEMONE EMERGENCY! PLEASE HELP ME!

My carpet anemone is sucked into an old type powerhead, and i cant pull him out! He is throwing up his intestins a little bit! Can I cut off part of the tentacle plate part? also a part of the base is sucked in also! What should I do as I beleive he is wrapped around the propeller blade, there are no screws to dismantle the powerhead! I have it in a styraphoam shipping container with water and a light now, should I just leave it and let it try to get itself out, rather then stress it out more!? PLEASE HELP ME I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!

YIKES....I would not cut it.....see if you can carefully work it out....if not, leave it....It does not sound good
OH AND COVER your powerhead next time :(

i can just leave the power head off forever until he comes out, his intestines are going back inside, i think it was from me trying to pull him out, i hope it works its way out its only a little bit of the edge . . . :'( THIS SUCKS, i hope that it will be okay!!

THe advice I was given that worked pretty well was to leave it alone, leave the powerhead off. Alow the nem to extract itself from the powerhead. You trying to remove it will do more damamge.
If you aren't running carbon, now is the time to start.
Not to be the bearer of bad news but it part of the disk is in the powerhead, it sounds pretty involved. While it certainly can recover, you need to be on top of it and remove it the moment it starts dying. Not removing it could cause some pretty nasty issues with your water quality.
I have had one sucked into a PH that was so involved, I didn't think it would survive, extract itself and live to outgrow my tank. I have also had one with minimal damage die quickly.

Thanks for advice guys, but what I ended up doing was following moewzers suggestion, i very slowly worked it out, although some ripped off, it is doing 100% as of yesterday morning! It has eaten and all tentacles are out and coloured up nicely! There have been no more problems, and the power head is G-O-N-E! :D
