Idk if the quote worked, there's nothing in the gray box. Lol anyway, you know what you said haha. Thanks for the answers and input. The purple pseudo dug himself a hole under the rock today and I guess is happy there. Only bugs the cardinal when it's feeding. He doesn't seem too stressed but I'm def. keeping an open mind about separating the two if I need to. I have a tank of hell I swear. I don't know what I was on the day I decided on these fish. Although tbh the purple was my own fault. It was one of the types I didn't research beforehand because I wasn't interested, but I saw it in the store and fall in love with it. Would have been nice if the guy had warned me about it though... .... ...
I live in Orange. The sand bed is lowest 1.5 inch? I'm eyeballing, I'm too lazy to get up and highest twice that. He didn't flatten it and I kind of like that it ups and downs. Seems more real to my eye than a perfectly flat sand bed. I went to LA (made sure to avoid traffic) to get my fish because the only store near my new (my brother's) apartment does all wild caught. Which I guess is okay but I was having "Finding Nemo" flashbacks lol and I couldn't handle it. Jk. But seriously, I want all my fish captive bred.

I have two BTAs in my 29g with a 50/50 65 watt coralife light (cost me like 80$) over them and they are fine,( T-5s would be a better investment though IMO). But they do like to be in the upper colum of the tank. I also have some soft corals (gsp, mushrooms, and kenya trees so far) and they all seem to be doing well. Hate to say but, your tank is not mature enough for a BTA, you should wait untill its at least 6 months old for it to become mature and stable.
I wouldnt worry about hermints and anemones, my Blue leg hermits like to crawl underneath the shade of my anemones and sit there untill the lights turn off.
Yeah, def. holding off on getting one. Thanks for the input, I will def. keep those brands/specs in mind if I ever get the courage for an anemone or coral.

i took a piece of fishing line and wrapped it around the tail of my clown and attached the other end to a suction cup near the base of the anemone. so now the clown just does circles around the top of it so at least it looks like he's hosting it.
J/K I don't even have an anemone yet!
