anemone has brown tenticles

My pink tip haitian anemone tentacles are turning brown. have had it for a month and this started 2 weeks ago. it is also suppose to have pink tips but it hasn't since i brought it home (i didn't pay attention if it did originally, they had a couple in tank)
It is actually darker than this picture taken 2 weeks ago?

How much light do you have over what size of a tank?

turning brown is ok. it is getting use to ur the lighting. anemones normally turn brown when producing zooxanthellae.

Yeah I agree. It's probably doing better than when you purchased it.
Often I'll see condys here in the FL stores that are completely white. It's pretty sad Brown is beautiful.

a 250 watt halide over a 54 gallon corner...i know LFS did not have that much lighting over it

It does really open up and spread out, but it had been a month and was worried, didn't want it to die and release its toxins
