well, an update on this little fella. It has lost almost all of its red colour, and the tentacles are super small, however it does not look nearly as deflated as it did a few days ago. Is it on the mend? will they

Not a good sign. When they lose color and the tentical get small it usually means they do not have enough light and are starving.

so move it closer to the top? or try and feed it?

Odds are nothing will help at this point. I wouldn't try to move it. You could try to feed it.

great. Mysis shrimp or should I pick a fresh frozen shrimp at the store? or does it matter?

I'd use mysis for now.

I've never had much luck once they've gotten to that point. Just a slow and steady progression as they melt away.

Could try spot feeding some mysis or fresh shrimp and see what happens or if it even responds.

When was the last time it ate?

Is there any way you can move the rock higher without detaching it?

I can move the rock higher without detaching it. That wouldn't be a problem to do at all. So I'll do that.

Also, how much Mysis do I feed it?

Well. I did a water change today. Shortly after that I noticed that his mouth was wide open and then some brown crap was coming out. I take it it was either poop, or zoo...(whatever the rest of the spelling is). Sigh.
