When should i feed the anemone once it has adjusted to the tank and what should i feed it i have frozen brine shrimp i could mix that with water from the tank let it thaw for a minute or two and use a pipette to feed it to the anemone.

NO, NEVER put the bag water or water that fish get put in for the ride home into the tank. It will be full of bad stuff for the maintank. Newly mixed salt water is you take your R/O water, mix salt in there and aerate for 24 hrs. to stabilize it.

The water that is in the buckets with the animals, you do not want to put back into your tank.

Let the anemone adjust for a couple of days before you try feeding IMO, (in my opinion). What kind of lights do you have?

You can feed it krill, squid, or silversides. Just take it down to him with a pair of tongs.

I was trying to stick to answering the questions they were asking. I didn't ask about lights or how long the tank was set up cause I gotta hit the sack, but since you did, it's all yours!! LOL.
And keep in mind, they are on the boards so that's a great place to start your research. Night night hot and shels.
Oh and welcome to the sight!!

"syphon part" and, your hands (with gloves) would be better so as not to accidentally tear the animal. But if a net is all you got then yes a net.

After the acclimation period you can place in the tank. Then yes add your new salt water(needs to be exact same specific gravity S.G. and temp as other tank water.

There is nothing nutritious about frozen brine. Anemones can be meat eaters, but get alot of their food sources through proper lighting. What kind of lights do you have?

This is the part I didn't want to get to...here is the bad news, since you are unsere of your lighting then it is most likely not the lighting required for anemones.Proper lighting is rather expensive and you definately know it when you buy it. Your anemone will not survive in an environment without sufficient lighting. Supplemental foods will prolong the inevitable, but he will eventually starve and if you attempt to compensate by feeding more often you will put you water parameters in jeapordy thus another risk for the anemone.
Anemones are not easy pets, and we should not buy them siomply because they are pretty before doing the research necessary. Your best bet, sorry to say will be to return the anemone.
Or find out and post what your lighting is after you find out and maybe there is hope after all.
HOT*** I didn't mean to sound crude last night when I said don't go there, but I have been blasted on more than one occasion by "changing the topic" from the original question by asking about the environments parameters. Example following.

I was trying to keep you from being blasted that's all. But shels here, seems to be a more willing learner. :joy:

The anemone died last night i think i cooked it. last night when i checked the heat pad it wasnt really making very much heat but this morning the water was too hot. i got a really good deal on it like 30 dollars. what kind of lighting do i need? i just have 2 of the cheezy lights that come with a 29 gallon aquarium when you buy it and the light that comes with a 55. how much does the lighting i need cost?
The clown fish are doing fine they love the tank!!
With tangs and dwarf angels do you have to have live rock?
would a 55 be too small for a yellow tang?
thanks

Eventually i am going to set up my 200 gal as saltwater.
I was just wondering on dwarf angels can you put more than one per tank if so how?
and i was also wondering the same thing about tangs.
Ive heard that they will fight if you put more than one. but what if you put them in at the same time.

whoa, whoa!! Slow down! So many questions. Sorry to hear about your anemone.
In order to keep an anemone you must first have a well established tank where the water parameters have been optimum and STABLE for at least 6 months. Youd want at least 75 pounds of live rock for the best filtration. Not many people recomend any tangs in a 55 but if you already have it and your gonna upgrade it'd be OK for a little while (year or so).
How many fish you can get depends o a lot of factors. How much live rock, how much water volume-including sump skimmers etc- and which kind of fish you want.
Glad your clowns are happy. If you are looking for a host for then those fake rubber anemones can sometimes work. My little brothers clown had a bleached stony skeleton as a host...go figure
