Anemone hiding in a dark cave?

My Bubbletip Anamone spends 1/2 its time on the top layer of rock under my 150W MH. The other 1/2 of the time it moved about 5 inches over the side so it is under the top layer of rock in a handy cave that gets almost no light at all. Is my BTA telling me I am leaving the light on too long? The light.is usually on from about 5pm to 5am.

thats alot of hours for a mh.i keep my mh on for 7 hrs and the compacts on for 12.
I usually turn the.light on when I get home from work, and then off.when I wake up. Perhaps I will change.that to off before going to bed.
