Anemone ID (not aptasia)

Wish I could post a pic but I still live in the stone age. The one I just picked up at lfs was sold to me as a maroon but online searches yield only "ritteri"; not it. Has deep maroon tentacles, short and tapered to point. Maybe 3 rows or so. Side of foot is DARK green and bumpy. Base of foot and mouth are lavender. size : 4-6 inches depending on mood.
A link or any care pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

Thanks for the guess, but not it. most of the long tentacle's I've seen are larger and this guy's tentacles are short.(not carpet short, but short) I think the foot is the key. looks almost like a sheath around animal

sounds like a rose-colored bubble tip anemone, but those are kind of rare to come by. BTAs have shorter tentacles and are usually brownish-green, but some color morphs can be a reddish-brown color referred to as rose. hope this helps...

i would agree that is sounds like a species of bubble tip. you could take a normal pic and scann it and then post it. otherwise positive id is very hard to do.
