Is this a LTA? This is what the guy I bought it from said but I want to make sure before I put it in my tank. Thanks!

I decided to keep it. The guy said if I don't want it, I can call him and he'll take it back. I placed it up on a rock where it gets good flow and lighting.

Yes it is a Sebae. Search Heteractis crispa. Most likely artificially dyed or bleached.
It is not an LTA. Search Macrodactyla doreensis.

How can you tell it was bleached? SWF.com sells white sebae too, are those also bleached? Are all white anemones bleached? Just curious how you can tell.

White is not a natural color for this species....Most all so called white sebaes at first that are kept successfully will regain their natural color back. I hope yours will too.
Many offer this animal as white due to the fact that it bleaches very easily/quickly, often arriveing at the sellers in this condition.
Many survive after being placed in proper lighting. It is a hardy anemone IMO, if kept in proper conditions.
This is a quote from Bob Fenner. A well respected author on the hobby....
"" Many newly arrived specimens are bright white, with pinkish tentacular tips... owing to having been kept in low to no light, poor water quality et al. stressful conditions. I would not say that being bleached dooms an animal, but it does not help... and you are advised to seek out Sebaes with at least some natural color. ""

I have a Sebae in my 75g. Mine is brown/tan with purple tips...
FYI...in the right conditions Sebae's will grow quick. Up to 1'8".

I noticed there's some coloring showing up at the bottom of the tentacles, a pinkish/brownish. Also tried feeding it a bunch of different things and I don't think it ate them. It grabbed the food with its tentacles and sort of pulled it towards its mouth, but I didn't see it actually eat it. I tried small pieces of fresh shrimp and also some frozen plankton. Any other foods I should try? I got some mysis and brine shrimp.
It also moved a little from where I placed it. I put it on top of my rocks to get good light and flow, but it decided to move a little lower overnight.

They will move but once they find a spot they like the often stay there unless the enviroment changes...as for food I feed mine one freeze dried Krill or frozen silverside (cut in half) once a week.

Woke up yesterday and didn't find it anywhere. Where the heck did it go, it's like 5" big! Then I look around and it moved behind a rock.
Hopefully it'll decide to move again because there's very little light there and no way for me to feed it.
