OK, probably just some discharge then....Just watch the mouth, and as long as that stays ok, it should be ok...
Anytime I ever had a problem with an anemone it had the stuff coming from the mouth too

why would that cause that junk on the bottom of its foot? it hasnt tried to climb up any rocks, but ill move it tomorrow and see, also maybe you can help me out with its eating problem since no one seems to know on my other thread
it will grab food, put it in its mouth, then within 10 seconds spit it out, i can pick the same food up, and it will grab it again so it must be hungry
ive tried raw shrimp and clams, all the other anemones and crabs and shrimp eat it, just not this guy, still inflates just fine and acting normal, just wont keep the food in its mouth and eat
whats the deal? tomorrow i can go pick up either some krill or silversides but id rather not buy them with all the shrimp and clam i have saved for them, its not spoiled either

IDK...about the foot...if an anemone is not happy it can do some weird things...if it is a sand anemone, the cc might be irritating it..I'M not positive though
About food...I have a bta, and it loves
scallops, I buy them frozen, thaw it out, and break off a little piece, place it on the tentacle...and then it is gone...I have also given it a tiny price of raw shrimp...It didn't like silversides though....Yours just may be picky...have you tried mysis shrimp?

lol ok, just making sure we were talking about the same stuff, ill give it a shot, just seems like they would be too small and light for it even to notice it on its tentacles, and even if it does bring it to its mouth, it would be too small for me to see it drop it with all of its tentacles in the way

Just make sure you keep it there until you know it is stuck to the tentacles...I know they are small, but your anemone may have an issue right now with larger food...so try it and see what happens...if it doesn't float away...well...hopefully it ate it...watch it closely...

That is a tear on it's foot, the white wormy stringy stuff is it's insides.
I wouldn't try to feed it, it is very stressed. It needs time to heal. I kind of skipped over a lot, what have you done to try to get it to attach to the rockwork? I'd place it in a nice quiet spot with the pumps off for a while and see if it will attach.
A torn foot can be a death sentence for an anemone, especially with the added stress of moving to a new tank. I would suggest keeping your water as pristine as possible and help it to attach to something, rolling around is not helping it, just stressing it more. Then leave it alone. Aside from the tear it dosen't look too bad but they have a way of fooling us. Good luck, I hope it makes it.
