anemone always are looking for a good place to hide their foot, let him move around to where he wants to go,if you move him he will get stressed.....anemone are a 50/50 chance....have the fish store feed the anemone before buying.....if lackluster don't buy it.

anemone's move for all kinds of reasons like a change in lighting, current, temp, salinity if those things change it will cause stress and he will move to make himself more comfortable. But if its under the rocks without light for too long you will need to move him back into the light to keep his zoanthalee alive. Sorry about my spelling.

sebaes are known to be the most difficult species to keep in captivity.I have found through experience that this is not a low maintainance species.this one takes dedication commitment and patients to keep alive and healthy and still its a 50/50 chance of survival.all i can do is give you a list of things i have found effective for mine in the 2 yrs i have had him.they do require precice enviroment and feedings guidelines .
#1 MH lighting at least 3- 4 hrs per day is required to keep this species anything less and it will survive for long
#2 good water movement mine is thriving under 4600 gph rotating flow
daily feedings until its fully recovered from acclimation (this could take months)i found cyclopseze to be great food for them(spot fed)
#3 always feed small chopped foods do not feed your anenome silverslides, large shrimp ect always feed raw marine variety foods.
you need to take your anenome out of the shaded area he has placed himself into and hope he mount himself to some rockwork.most sebaes prefer a rock over substrate
try a spot toward the top of the tank in good flow area not pounding on him that will make him uncomfortable
