This may sound stupid but im new to this

I had to treat my tank with copper power due to a powder brown tank that brought ick with him.
My LFS told me to do this but didnt tell me it may hurt the anemone they sold me!
Anyway its tenticles are still full but its orange foot is shrunken and it wont attach, i know its hurting but what will it look like if dead???

I dont want to leave it in the tank if its dead!
Any help appriciated!!!!!!!!!!

That is why you should have a quarantine tank to put your new fish in to make sure everything is ok and to treat any fish that is sick so you don`t hurt what you have invested in your DT . There are many non copper treatments also that work well . Your anemone will probly die along with any other inverts and possibly other fish . Your anemone will start to fall apart and will have a stringy mess of crap and will make a big mess in your tank and fitration . Use something to touch the tenticals and see if it is still sticky ,if not it will most likely be dieing . So remove it before it causes more problems.
