Anemone Question

I currently have two clown fish in my tank and would like to add a anemone, I was told i have to get a special light so it will survive. I have two light sources now, a ocean sun 10,000 k, and a coral sun actinic 420. Will these lights be ok? Do i need to have live coral in tank? I have live rock and crushed coral on the bottom. Also Would like to know what types of anemone the clowns will inhabit

It is a corner 54 gallon tank, both bulbs are 18 watt 24" long. The tank is been up and running for about 5 months

IMO, that is nowhere enough light for any anemone. The depth of most corner tanks compounds the problem.

Any suggestions on a light that would supply enough light, or is tank just to deep?
I don't think the tank is overly deep, just anemones don't do well with pcs anyway....
you may want to look into a metal halide...you can get a 150W for that tank
orrrr...and maybe someone else will add to this...A GOOD T5HO set...I hear the nova extreme pros are good and have individual reflectors too

ok is it just me or.....
where can you find a good selection of single-ended 150 watt MH bulbs?
Everything i can find only has a good selection of 100/150 watt HQI double ended.... and the lowest single ended bulb with a good selection is 175.
anyone know a good source for single ended 150 watt or lower MH?

They do not make single end 150 halides for the hobby. The single end would be a 175. FYI, most the ballast for 150 or 175w will fire either one.
