Anemone reproducing question

When the anemone reproduces asexually, not splitting in half but reproducing small ones. example my buddys anemone reproduced 5 little anemones about the size of a quarter. where does it reproduce from? do they split off the foot or the oral disc? the anemone is a gbta.

If they bud the baby grows out of the foot of the mother. At least it's that way with carpets.
Are you sure it's a BTA? I've never heard of a BTA dropping little babies, just splitting in half. Your buddy's sounds more like a majano anemone.

I have a pink tip Haitian that "popped off" the tips of at least half it's tentacles last week. I have 7 in a net at the top of the tank and just tonight found 2 near the bottom of the tank that had attached to rocks. They are all alive - little green worm-like things with pink tips - about the size of a pencil lead. Wish I knew what to do for them...
