anemone splitting??

is it normal for a carpet anemone to be on the bottom of the tank on the sand all shrivled up and looks like its splitting??(at the ass end)
its still green in color. just got em 4 days ago.

I'v seen plenty of anemone in the sand. And he just might be splitting. That is how they reproduce. So, I would not say he's dying. But just keep a clkose eye on em'.

carpets can split? he is fairly large.

I think most anemones reproduce that way. Carpets aren't the easiest to keep, if it is reproducing, your 'yaddy yaddy ya' is working pretty well. Have a cigar.
