Anemone unhappy..silverside too large?

I fed my sebae last night and this morning it spit out virtually the entire piece of silverside I gave it. The mouth is open a bit, and I know that eating food too large could injure and sometimes kill an anemone..if it has injured itself trying to digest this fish, what are the chances it'll bounce back? I'm sad. It's been doing so well.

dont feed silversides...the fish have bones and that is sometimes difficult for the anemone to digest...
try frozen cubes, such as krill, or squid...pretty much anything meaty without bones would be awesome.

Prey in the wild is full of bones, shells and guts Anemone have no problem with them as a matter of fact they benefit from the nutrients found in some “offal”. Not all Anemone eat fish some are adapted to eating shrimp have you tried them? The size of your prey may affect their consumption cut them into smaller pieces. Don’t assume that your Anemone is eating everything offered sometimes they will engulf a food item only to release it much later uneaten. Another common error is to overfeed them they are slow at eating and digesting food remember they eat and poo through the same place it is possible you are feeding too often with proper lighting manual feedings are a supplement not a necessity in most Anemone(once a week should be fine)
