Hello you all, Got a question. I have lost one of my Anemones. It was the size of a baseball when it was fully open and I've had her for about 10 months. Now all of a sudden she has vanished. not is the tank. The water has not change at all, no foul Oder of any type. no muck es in the water at all. She has been gone now for about two months now. Any body got any info on something like this?

Thanks Spider9376

In the overflow??
I've seen them stuck to the inside of a 3 inch pipe taking residence there!! It was a carpet, we all thought was long gone!

Ok what is a CUC ? I don't know about all that. I just know how big it got before it vanished. Like I said it was the size of a softball, I said baseball but i meant softball, Wouldn't she show herself before now? She was a long tinacal Anemone brown in color and very good looking, man I just don't know!!

CUC = clean up crew
to the left on SWF.com is a section called reef packages...look on there, find the tank size like yours and see what is offered for a tank your size...That wll give you an idea of what should be in your tank to control algae, uneaten food and dead fish and critters deep in the rocks.

Check overflows if you have them. My bta took a trip through my overflows all the way through the pvc pipes and ended in the sock in my tank. It's still healthy, but it took quiet the trip
