anemone waste

What is the waste product for an anemone...I was told to feed each of them half a cube of frozen squid twice weekly....We find snail poop everywhere, which nobody seems to want to consume <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" /> , my sand sifter will not move behind the LR to clean back there, so should we do some moving of the sand ourselves????

Do you see the anemone ball the stuff up and spit it out?
The only time ive seen my anemone relaese something that looked like poop is when it ate my nudibranch!!!
If he is doing this regularly I would feed him somthing else. He is probably eating only what he can of the squid and spitting the rest out!!
This could be wrong but its my experience
and yes I would remove the stuff from the tank!!

what kind of anemone is it? i've never really worried about feeding mine. every now and then i will feed them a silverside but that's about it. and as far as removing it, you really shouldn't have to unless it is messing up your water or you just can't handle seeing it. otherwise there's really no need to take it out.

i feed my bubbletip anemones shrimp, krill and silversides. they eat like pigs and love you for it the next day!

What do you use to direct the food to the anemone? How much food? What is a silverside? I have a sabae, should I be feeding that often? I know the sometimes brine falls on it.
