Anemone will not extend

I have a 55 gal tank with 3 BT Anemones and when we first purchased them they all had nice extentions, now over time all three do not extend at all. I can get them to eat but only once a week or so and we have tried everything my local dealer has suggested. We have bought a new lighting system (4 bulb T-5 @ 220w) Bought a RO/DI system for the house and added more flow. I check the water every week and keep track of the readings, my nitrates were high but now range between 0 and .5. everything else seems to be right where it should be. I keep the temp at 81 deg and run dusk to dawn on the lights. We have also had a problem with other Items such as Xzenia not lasting and just recently a Sea Apple didnt make it. Our fish seem to be doing great and have had most of them for about a year with no problems at all. Its really frustrating and any help that can be offered would be great

How long have you had the new lighting? The new lighting could be the issue, may take awhile for them to adjust, I would also try and bring your temp down good temp around 78ish.

Anemones feed 90% off the lights so you should feed once a week or once every 10 days. They also get fed when you feed your tank and if you have clowns, sometimes the clowns feed them so I wouldn't worry about them only eating once a week.
I never had a sea apple but i've heard they release a toxin when they die. If you are not running carbon then i'd put some in, and if you are depending how old it is, change it. Hope this helps. and like always this is only my opinion and i'm sure others will add their .02

you should be good more or less. I have 48 watts total on my 29 and my bubbletip is doing fine. I would say it is most likely the temperature. when i lowered mine from 79 to 77 it did better........someone told me it keeps animals at a higher stress level when it is hotter...but idk if that is true or not.

do your lights have individual reflectors ,your anem gets no help from your (blue) lights they only bring out color 4 t5 on a 55 is on the low side for anems also temp is fine as long as it is steady mine are in 81 deg

My lights have individual reflectors but have the timer set so the 10k's runs 7 hrs a day and the kinetics runs 12.
