Anemone Wont Eat!!!

I recently bought a anemone from a LFS. Heres a pic of it. For some reason it wont eat fine cut fresh shrimp(well i put it in the mouth and it just spits it out). Ive only had it for 2 days. I had a anemone about a year ago for 6 months and ive never had a problem with it. I sold it to my LFS bc it was killing alot of my corals from it moving all over the tank. Anyone know why it wont eat? Any other food to try?

It isn't hungry...wait a few days and try again, I fed my anemone once every other week.

Maybe it doesn't like living around all the aptasia...LOL....
on a more serious note...do you tenderize the shrimp? Why not try scallops....buy the bag of bay scallops from Walmart (frozen) $5 for 100-200 of them.....thaw it out, and give it a small piece....they are soft, and not a lot of work for them to eat....my anemone's love them

i have a butterfly taking care of them. had butterfly in my smaller tank and he wiped it out within a month. he just got moved in the big tank 3 days ago. Didnt know you could buy scallops at walmart. ill try that out as well.

your water quality problems are not going to help the anemone (high nitrates) it will stress it so it will not eat
