Has anyone ever had an anemone split? Our's split in about two hours with no indication it was happening. He was fine, then stretched, then was two. They seem fine, but we have just never had this happen.

Yes the bulb will split and will do five. Mine has not split and i can't whit till it does. I friend of mine called me over to see his red bulb tip split into threes now he has 4. Let us know how they do. Tak

Thats a very interesting article. So, i guess you can wait with optimal conditions for a split or take your chances witht the "ole Butcher Knife"
