What do you mean by limp? If it has died it will get a bit slimmy. Anyways, you cant put it where you want it, it will go where it wants to go (believe me grrr). All mine went to the back of the tank. If you just got it today, dont worry it is figuring out where it wants to be. I'll check back in keep posting and let us know what is happening.

Hello, fellow Okie. Anenomes need time to find a place. If you have a lot of current, stop it until it finds a suitable place. They also require very intense light, and perfect water quality. They like to find their own place in the tank.
Good luck!!

ok lets try this you know how when you see then in the store they are standing up almost like they are waving at you. and i should have said flat not then im a little on the tired side no sleep in about 20 hour working to much

All I can say is, it looks as if it is in shock. Test you water, and make sure everything is ok with the tank.
I hate to say it, but sometimes they don't make it. If there is a big difference between your water and the water at the place you bought it from, it can cause it to die.
Do anything you can to make it comfortable, as for as temp and water quality. Give it time in the dark. Hopefully it will come out of it. It is not dead until it lets loose of where it is stationed and shrivels up to nothing.

just tested water it is where it is supose to be i hope you are right and it just in shock and i hope it will come out of it have you been to the reef shop in oklahoma city yet

Nope, never been there. I just recently moved here to Oklahoma, and have only been to OKC one time. I would like to see what they have. I have fallen in love with online shopping for this hobby. Prices are better and no taxes. Once and a while I will go look at the fish store to see if there is something that I can not live without.

it is only salt water they have been open about 18 years they have a web site reefshop.com have you ordered from this web sight if you have. have you had good luck with what you have ordered

I did not even know there was an online store here in OK. I will definitely check them out. The main stores that I order from is here at swf.com until recently. They don't want to sell their regular items, just this sale stuff.
So now I order my livestock from etropicals.com, and dry goods through ***********.com, aquaticlight.com, and bigalsonline.com. and a couple of others.
Thanks for the information!

I am from Enid, there is a pet store here that sells saltwaterfish. It is a good store, but doesn`t have much variety.

Every now and then, I have to travel to Blackwell, OK to do some inspection at a steel shop. Pretty close to Enid. I may check them out.
Thanks!
