anemones lighting

im just wonderin if a 2x96 powercompact with 1 lunar light would be enough light to hold an anemone it will be on a 40 gallon tank

If it is a standard 40 and not a 40 tall for some anemones , not all. Many require strong lighting like M.H.

no it is a 40 regular and yeh it will be a regular like a buble tip those are about the only ones i see around here

i have a 75 gallon tank with a corallife 260w pcs is this enough light for anemones???

I would go with MH. It would survive under PC's for a while but halides would be a lot better for an anemone.

yeh but do u know how long it could survive on compact the compacts arent stayin here it was just a starting light and after i get the tank i will be saving up again to buy another light so do u know how long it could survive

I have a LTA and BTA that I have kept so far for years .

T5s are also a great choice if you prefer to have your light evenly distributed.
