Anemones sting?

I have some xenia polyops growing underneath a peice of LR. The problem is my PTH is guarding the entrance to the bottum of the rock do you think it could sting me through a pair of latex gloves?

I heard to wear latex when dealing with anemones, which leads me to think they wont sting, but don't use the ones with that powder stuff, and I'm not sure if they penetrate the gloves neither, just what I've heard...

That would work but unless your alergic to bee stings and such I really wouldnt be to wrried about it. the sting to use is like we are velcro no biggie. if you are allergic or feel you might full gloves are recomended

It just itches.
At least by the kind I played with to prove to my nephew and brother that theyre the more volgar term for cats.....

I hand feed mine every couple of days with no probs, my gbta was on the sand once so i picked it up and held my hand over it until it attached to a rock about 30 seconds, no itching.
