anemones?

i was wondering, is it safe to put an anemone in an all fish tank, mostly tangs? maybe some other fish soon?

anemonies need very strong lighting along with prestine water conditions, you won't be able to keep one thriving all that will happen is that it will slowly start dying. bad idea.

Anemones live hundreds, if not thosands of years in the wild. Most, if not all anemones live a maximum of 2 years in captivity.
Keeping them is not as bad as many would assume though as most anemones are propegated in captivity (the common species).
The above poster is correct about the difficulty in maintaining anemones. The lighting must be metal hallide and nitrate/nitrite/ammonian/phosphate need to read zero at all times.
I don't recommend anemones. I bought two condy anemones the other day and they positioned themselves in a crack in the rear of the tank where I can't even see them. If you move them, they will just moved back to where they want.
