ok here is a overview . tank is 75 gallon with 30 gallon refg it has been running for 2 years prior to me owning it . it has a 3-4 inch sand bed 80-85 lbs live rock . water tested this morning looked like this
cal--460
amo-0
alk-12
trite-0
sal-1.024-5
ph-7.8-8 added a little buffer
mag-1400
trate-0
it was full and looked fine got home and it is flat and shrunk from 16"-18" to about 5" and its bottom that is normally white is kind of brown.
is this normal ?
i have had him for about 2 weeks and he has been a complete pain in the ass moving about trying to find his spot
and laying on top of other corals in the tank

i'm no anemone expert but my brain has an open mouth like that when it feeds? Maybe post info about lights and flow to see if that will help anyone answer.

What kind of lights do you have? That anemone looks very stressed. It's mouth looks loose and wide open and it is moving around trying to find a suitable spot which is a sure sign of stress or sickness. It will not tolerate big swings in PH or Temp.

water temp is 79.6

did a water change sunday night, 10 gallons maybe that is the cause of ph drop otherwise it has been 8.2 at every test

I have a 6 bulb t-5 coming this week
there are 2 korilla #1s (1 in each corner)
HOB refugium with the return creating flow down back wall
