I need to know why they Ball up. And what is this smoke stuff coming out. I am new to Anemones.

It's normal behavior. The "smoke" is waste being expelled, the balling up is just something they do.

I believe the balling up is because they are exchanging the water inside of them.

I agree, but there are other reasons...bad water quality...chemical warfare with another anemone...and getting ready to be on the move. Most times it is just waste water being exchanged for some fresh stuff.

Thank you. I think they are killing each other. There are 3 of them in there 50 gal tank.

Anemones of the same species will not harm each other. If they are different species that's a different story.
