Anemonic abuse at the hands (claws) of CBS

Spike the coral banded shrimp is badass! He just ripped a chunk of formula two from the grasp of the anemone & then proceeded to lay the beatdown on it, pinching away at anemone bits. Are CBS not affected by anemone sting? Hope I'm not in for the well-documented explosion of stench that is anemonic death. Do anemones recover from this sort of abuse? He has also had words with the frogfish, but as of now they agree to disagree. Great forum, I appreciate any and all advice

Sounds like you've got yourself one heck of an aggressive CBS. I'd get rid of him, as it's likely he will only get worse.

thanks, I'm afraid that may have to happen- would hate for him to mess up the frogfish. when they square off I swear I can hear the theme from "the good, the bad, & the ugly" bubbling up to the surface.

I'm a fan of the CBS and haven't seen them that nasty....Actually my pair use to play a cat & mouse game with the Yellow tang at feeding time......
