Anenome Compatible :)?

54 gallon tank, 2 96watt(blue white) PC lights, 1 250 psi HOT magnum filter w/carbon in it.
1 finger coral
1 button polyp coral
2 mushroom corals (one is a hairy shroom)
planning on putting hard corals later
2 tomato clowns
1 yellow tang
1 damsel
1 horshoe crabby

it depends on the anemone, some move around a lot and may sting corals. cnidarians sometimes fight, so which anemones do you want to put in?
also, you will have to find a new home for your yellow tang as he gets bigger, a 58 is not big enough imo, unfortunately. but the anemone sounds cool. did you want the tomato clowns to live in it? if so, were they tank-raised or ocean-caught?

As long as the tank is matured, and you have good lighting, you can put it in with corals and other inverts. I would suggest staying away from a carpet though. They get big, and have a really nasty sting. Mine has really put a dent in my cleanup crew and fish population. Just be ready to move a coral in case the anemone goes on the move and gets too close to a coral. They can sting.

thats about 3.5 watts per gallon you have in your set up, i dont know if that is enough for your anomie, My opinion is to do a lot of research on the anomie you want, if the anomie dies, esp if you get a carpet anomie it will poison your whole tank. Do some research in the books and search around the board for the anomie you want.
