Ouch, man that bites. I don't know anything but just wanted to give you my comiserations... I guess if it's damaged or dead remove it so it doesn't poison your water, it its still alive move it to quarantine and hope for the best?? Thats hard luck.

Correction.....At first read, I was thinking "powerhead". What kind of filter? Did it survive? Is is still in tact?

I've had mine sucked into my overflow; it came apart in two pieces. Completley deflated and limp. Almost threw it away, and decided to let it sit in two seperate cups. Now I have two thriving anemones. Don't give up on it yet! They are suprisingly hardy if originally healthy

Come to think of it... I saw him attached to the side if the overflow box...thinkin he was happy now come to think....he was bein sucked! But because he was at the very bottom and behind rocks,it was hard to tell what was goin on..

Do some big water changes in the next few days and keep an eye on your parameters.
