I just bought 2 Anenome's a few days ago and the wont stop going to the back of the tank. I got tired of moving like 100lbs of LR to get one of them. It seems now that it disapeared. Do they just wilt away? The other one was ok on the same rock till today and it ended up behind the tank also. Will this one wilt away also or should I move another 100lbs of LR to get this one. Why do they move around like this? Is it just that they don't like my tank? Or do they do this often? Can anyone help me with this because I might not get another one again if this is what they will do.

Just let them do what they want. Anemones are delicate enough, and you dont want to stress them out by constantly moving them. They might go hide...but they will eventually come up to find the best place to set their feet, obviously where there is lots of light.
IMO...just let them move around. I have heard people with the same problem...and they should come back up to where you can see them....unless they find a spot they like in the back.

what kind of lighting do you have over the tank? also, what kind of current are you producing in the tank? how are your water levels?

I have a curly Q anemone, and when I put it in my tank it started to move around on one of my rocks. It really loves this rock as their is a crevice on this rock that is near the top of the rock. When it feels threatened it reteats into this crevice. But most of the time it climbs it way to the top of the rock in search of the light. I just love this anemone, it is really cool to watch.

I have a sebae anenome that did exactly the same thing the first time that I had brought it home. And, I did the same thing. I went in there and gently removed it from this hole in the live rock that it somehow got into and wouldn't come out. My concern was that, back there, it wasn't going to get any light and eventually just shrivel up. I did, however, have one person tell me that it would find it's way up to where the light was the best for it, and anchor itself there. Well, my patience got the best of me, and the poor thing never moved very much nor did it ever open up for me. So, after going in after it, I put it in an area of excellent light intensityand kinda helped it stay in place by building a small wall around it with some rocks, nothing huge, just some "movement deterring" rocks. That seemed to work well, as he seems to like it there and anchored himself to a "crater" in the live rock and opens up beautifully. Also, after he found his home (at least for the time being) I removed the little barrier around it.
