anenome ?

I have a Magnificent Anemones that has been doing very well in my tank, had been in the same spot for about 4 months and then decide to find a new place. Over the past 4 weeks it has made its way over to the other end of the tank (up close to the top) where it has been for about two weeks.
In the past few days I have notice slime coming off of it, along what seems to be large amounts of micro bubbles. I feed it silversides twice a week and it has hosted two clowns since the first day I got him. My tank is just about a year old and the water test are-- PH 8.3, SG 1.025, NH3 0, NO2 0, NO3 5, ALK 3.77, CA 410, temp 80. It also has grown from approx 7" to about 12". Is this normal behavior or is it on its way out?

When you say slime do you mean it has turned into a snot-like appearence (clear/whitish)? Sorry, that is the only way I can describe it. Or could it just be expelling waste (usually brown colored and coming from the "mouth")? Is it still attached and/or eating? I dont have experience with your type of anenome, just going on what I have seen with mine.

My RBTA started acting the same way just before it split. I don't remember slime or micro bubles. Is it a BTA?

Niger12 - no it is not a rbt it is a magnificent anenome
Clarkiiboi-- it's not comimg from the mouth, its seems to be coming from the tenticles, it looks like spit or the same slime that comes off a sps when it is first introduce to the tank.

Sounds like waste that has been released to me. That is usually stringy like you describe.
