Anenome

Well, I checked it out and its still moving....opening and closing and the tenticles are still moving. The tenticles have shrunk and there are some bubbles on the base of the anenome. I'm not sure what its doing. My cleaner shrimp was "i think" cleaning it and it opened up for it. So I'm not sure whats going to happen, I just have to keep watching it. I picked it up and it didn't smell bad nor did it fall apart.
I keep seeing a lot of stuff about the nitrates and nitrites. Mine are ok as of now but what should I do if they increase? I'm new at all this. I had to buy the "Saltwater Aquariums for Dummies" lol Also, I have been doing water changes once a week. Is that good or should I do more?

Leave the anemone alone. Let it adjust to its new environment. Water changes once a week are fine. You only need to do more if your nitrates, nitrites or ammonia go up. Yes, you cleaner shrimp was probably cleaning it.
