Anenomes & Clowns

I just bought a Haddoni Carpet Anenome and I have a Maroon Clown. He hasn't taken to it yet. Will he? Is there a better anenome to get that will easier host clowns and are some types of clowns more prone to anenomes than others?

Its not normal for maroons and carpet anemones, but they (the anemone) normally will pair with saddleback or clarkii clowns, also true and false percs and some others.
You got yourself one of the stickier anemones, sure hope you have a big enough tank for it, they get really big. Also hope you have MH lighting for this one.
Maroons have been known to pair with BTA's RBTA's and LTAs, Sebae's and a few others.

Another point to add is that clowns may not immediatly host the new anemone in your tank. My maroon and gold took a few weeks before hosting my BTA but now it seems like it never leaves.

how big of tank do u have?
