anenomies & water temperature

I have a 55 gallon salt water set up and recently began placing anenomies within. To my dismay and frustration, they keep dyring on me in a matter of a couple of weeks. My water is testing great, but my temperature seems to rise above 80 later in the day. Could this be the cause? If so, what is the solution (other than buying an expensive chiller)?

i had to use Green-X about six months ago. I've done water changes every two weeks. The tank is set up about a year. Use 50/50 lighting 8 hours a day. I try never to move the anenomies. Sorry for the confusion with the other posting. Getting used to how to reply.

First, your 50/50s,are they normel output? If so, this could be the problem. These guys require rather intense lighting.Even if you have VHO,or PC lighting you may need at least one DAYLIGHT bulb. Also .25 salinity seems a little high.I keep mine at .19,But thats my LFS guy,and my preferance. Plus I don't have corals yet. Hows evrything else in the tank doing?????? STEVE

I have 3 clowns, a blue regal tang and a Christmas wrasse that are the original fish I put in a year ago. They are all doing very well. I have alot of green algea growth (more than the turbo's and crabs can eat). I have a couple of sponges and all live rock.
