how fast do large angels grow?? specifically a queen or french?
right now we have a 90gal with only yellow tang and coral beauty, a few damsels, didnt die during cycle year ago, and inverts, corals.. we want to get a much larger tank 265, is the one were looking at, but that wont be for a long time.... the queen is about 3 inches, how long til he outgrows thi little 90?

The large fish obtain 90% of their growth in their first 10% of their lifespan. Not a rule but a fairly good general guideline.
For example a Hippo Tank with a lifespan of 60 years will grow to about 12" in the first 6 years and then it will take about 54 years to gain the last 1" or so.
A large Angel that grows to 20" and lives 40 years will grow to about 18" in 4 years.
