angels and reefs

okay again lots of searching, lots of reading. i am doing a reef tank. i want a flame angel. it seems 50/50 on yes it is fine with soft corals. or not?????
i am very confused

i think it is hit or miss...i think in most cases smaller angels are okay in reef tanks...but you may get one who nips corals...larger angels i think will eat your inverts so they are out...

any angel 50/50 chance they will eat. and ive herd stories of them snapping after a year in the same tank with no changes. So u really never know.

My Coral Beauty named,Finicky doesn't bother the coral and goes after the Clownfishe's general food.I think Flame Angels are about the same as Coral Beauties hit or miss.

my flame has developed a taste for xenia's and loves to nip at my brain coral.
If I could catch his little a$$ he would be on the way to the lfs....kinda hard to do with 250lbs of live rock though....LOL
In other words...I wouldn't recommend a flame in a reef...

I'm having the same problem, I have a coral beauty to get out of my tank, I think it took a bite out of my linkia, how do I get it out of the tank? It's a 90 gal with 104 lbs live rock.
