Before he started eating, he was picking at little Zoas, on the rock you see in the top right corner.
Now that he waits for me in the mornings, during morning feedings. The picking has stopped. He eats Arcti-Pods, Loves the stuff.
The Regals are the most calmest species I have ever encountered. He/she pretty much chills on the left side of the tank all day, until its feeding time. Then he comes out, eats, and goes right back.
Unlike the Purple Tang you see there. BIG BOSS!!!!

Interesting...my angels are definitely the bosses of the tank. All the other fish just stay out of their way. Even when I had my Powder Blue Tang, he stayed out of the way of the Emperor angel.
When I upgrade my tanks, one of the first angels I get in addition will be a Regal angel.

ccampbell57- thanks for your input about the carpet. i know that raccoon butterfly's are mostly peaceful, which ours is for the most part. but, he does rule the tank, and will occasionally chase around other fish to show them whos boss. will this be a problem when we add a bigger more territorial fish?

could be an issue. I think that the butterfly will eventually give up. Not sure though...I know for a fact that the butterfly will have to bow down to the queen once she is over 5"...

haha yeah i hope so, ok so do u think we should still go with the queen, and if so, what size...we want to get one more on the larger side so it might have a better chance of survival. what size did u order yours from SWF.com? did u order it as a medium b.c if so thats kinda the size were looking for. and if we do get the queen, when should we add the Hawaiian trigger?

I ordered the medium. I wanted one that was smaller than the other angels that I have, plus angels tend to be easier to get to eat when they are smaller. I think 3-6" is a great size. I actually loved watching my emperor change. I will definitly do an all Juvi tank one day so that I can experience it again.
Add the hawaiian whenever you can find one. They are not readily available.
