I have a juvi French in a 7 foot 180. Think I can get a juvi Emporer and be safe?
The French is friendly to everybody in the tank now.

They probably would be ok for a while but as they get bigger there will be problems. You need a tank twice that size to have a chance on keeping 2 adult angels successfully. I wouldn't do it.
You could of course get a dwarf angel and they will do fine.

I know the Emporer can get kinda big, but the French too? They don't look that nice as adults.

What sort of time frame am I looking at for my French to mature? (I know....all fish are different) He is only about 3 in now and I've had him for about 5 months.

I think they would be fine... especially if they are introduced as juveniles. And a 7' 180 will be plenty of room for a long time.
